The meeting of the warning board of trustees of the Indus Stream Framework Authority (IRSA) was held today. During the meeting, the authorities anticipated 18% of water lack to be looked by the country during the Rabi trimming season.
As per the announcement, 30.2 million sections of land feet of water will be accessible for crops. 16.23 million sections of land feet of water will be accessible for Punjab crops, 12.24 million sections of land feet for Sindh, 0.7 million sections of land feet of water for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and 1,000,000 sections of land feet of water for Balochistan crops.
Because of flood obliteration in Balochistan, the warning board supported 0.149 million sections of land feet of water for the yields in the territory.
During the meeting, the Met authorities said that the nation will get lesser downpours in the following three months. Additionally, the power supported the conclusion of Tarbela Dam's Passage 5 for the following 33 months from November 5, 2022, to May 2025.
